#1320 - Guanyin announces death, turns misfortune into good fortune, and presents difficulties

The Buddhas present in the Western Paradise had great confidence in their domain.

Even the Heavenly Dao had ordained the Journey to the West, ensuring the rise of the Western Paradise. This was the grand scheme, an irresistible force. Could anyone in this world defy it?

After all, the Western Paradise's fortune was like a rainbow, capable of turning misfortune into good luck and transforming calamity into auspiciousness.

As long as this endless fortune didn't dissipate, even if the Western Paradise faced more tribulations, it would only be a matter of cleansing those who couldn't keep up with its pace.

For the Buddhas present, this might even be a good thing. Wouldn't it be nice to have fewer people to share the spoils with?

Despite experiencing numerous tribulations, the Western Paradise maintained its advantage due to its inherent fortune!

The only thing capable of defeating the current momentum of the Western Paradise would likely be the next major trend, the calamity after the Journey to the West.

But clearly, that was a matter for the future, and no one was worried about it now.

Thus, the Buddhas remained leisurely, chatting amongst themselves.

Despite experiencing three major tribulations, the Buddhas were still full of confidence.

However, this peace and leisure were soon broken by a familiar figure.

Just as the Buddhas were enjoying a moment of tranquility in this paradise, a figure draped in white rushed in from outside the Spiritual Mountain in a state of panic.

Her expression was tense, and her movements were hurried, taking two steps at a time, clearly anxious, as if she were rushing to a funeral.

Upon seeing this figure, the Buddhas' good mood instantly froze, and their hearts sank!

It's over, the Messenger Bodhisattva has arrived, she's here to deliver bad news!

Sure enough, before she arrived, her voice preceded her!

The anxious and flustered voice of Guanyin Bodhisattva came from outside.

"Buddha! Something has happened, something major has happened!"

The Tathagata Buddha was the most distressed of all, especially upon seeing Guanyin Bodhisattva's expression, which was all too familiar!

Tathagata: I want to escape, but I can't...

"Guanyin, weren't you supposed to be watching over Tang Sanzang and his party on the Journey to the West? What happened that you're in such a panic?"

The Tathagata Buddha mustered his courage and asked.

However, as soon as Guanyin Bodhisattva entered, her face turned pale, and she looked around, not noticing any change in the Western Paradise's fortune.

Perhaps it was slightly delayed, but Guanyin Bodhisattva knew that what was coming would eventually arrive!

Seeing Guanyin Bodhisattva's hesitant expression, the Buddhas quickly said:

"Yes, Guanyin, please tell us quickly. No matter what happens, we in the Western Paradise will definitely work together to solve it!"

"Guanyin, as the head of the three great Bodhisattvas, I think you should be more composed. Don't put so much pressure on us at every turn."

"That's right, our Western Paradise's fortune is like a rainbow, never extinguished, and definitely the most powerful force within the Three Realms and Six Paths. No matter what kind of bad thing happens, the fortune of the Western Paradise can resolve it!"

"Exactly, Guanyin, you must have faith in the Western Paradise. Just speak your mind."

The Buddhas' mentality had improved quite a bit now, after all, they had just been given a pep talk and a grand promise by the Tathagata Buddha.

They were full of confidence in the Western Paradise's fortune. Anyway, with this fortune, everything could be turned from bad to good, so what was there to fear? Just stay calm!

Guanyin Bodhisattva didn't know where these youngsters got their confidence from. Why were they suddenly so calm?

Guanyin Bodhisattva took a deep breath and, facing the Buddhas who were just laughing and relaxing, said with a bitter face:

"This matter is probably related to our Western Paradise's fortune!"

"Just now, the Great Sun Tathagata, during the Journey to the West, punched Tang Sanzang's head into pieces!"

"Now, Tang Sanzang is shattered to pieces, dead without a whole corpse. I have returned specifically to report this..."

Before Guanyin Bodhisattva could finish speaking, the Buddhas felt the Spiritual Mountain suddenly dimming inexplicably.

The spiritual energy and light of the entire Spiritual Mountain were dissipating at a rate visible to the naked eye!

The Buddhas' expressions instantly froze, and they exclaimed in shock:

"This is a backlash of fortune! Damn it, what depraved thing did we do? Why is the backlash of fortune so violent!"

What great hatred did he have for the Western Paradise to punch Tang Sanzang to death!

Of all people to hit, it had to be Tang Sanzang, the one who carried the momentum of the Journey to the West!

Killing Tang Sanzang was going against the heavens, going against the grand scheme.

The magnitude of this backlash of fortune was so great that even the Western Paradise, no matter how powerful, could hardly resist it!

Fortune is the most powerful reliance of all forces. As long as there is this boundless fortune, even if the three worlds of the Western Paradise are destroyed, it can still complete the Journey to the West.

This is the will of the Heavenly Dao, unchangeable.

They actually directly attacked the Western Paradise's fortune, and took away one-tenth of it at once. How could the Western Paradise withstand this kind of impact!

This was something that had never happened in the Western Paradise, a major event worthy of being recorded in the history of the Western Paradise!
