Chapter 126 Forgive me

Chapter 126 Forgive me

After a long while, she stood up and signed, "Compared with my grandparents' other children, does Yun Liuyi have the same legal status as their biological children? Has an adoption agreement been signed?"

"This..." Yun Jixing thought for a while, "No, my grandparents said that they separated Yun Liuyi from our family legally a long time ago, so there is no legal connection between him and our family, and he has no inheritance rights."

[But your family has been in contact with him for so long and raised him, so you have already formed a certain relationship. If something happens to them, it will still implicate you to some extent, right?]

"Yeah, so it's a bit troublesome. However, something was discovered recently. If the evidence is more conclusive, the country will take action. Yun Liuyi, and possibly Yun Quan, will most likely be sentenced to death."

[What's up?]

"He took advantage of state projects and seemed to be cheating on taxes. This happened a long time ago and I don't know if it still exists. My guess is that we can refund taxes proportionally. He opened a company abroad, falsely marked the prices of goods exported from China, and prepared foreign exchange in advance to forge VAT invoices and receive subsidies. He cheated a lot of money. Conservatively speaking, it must be tens of billions, and it is possible to be tens of billions."

[How do you know this?]

"Dad went out to dinner with someone, and someone got drunk and let something slip. Not much was said, and a lot of it was just my dad and I guessing, but it was probably something like this."

Yu Ru nodded, then leaned on Yun Jixing in silence, staring at the slippers on the ground without blinking, looking like she was thinking.

After a while, she gestured, "Do you know their phone numbers, ID numbers, and the largest company under their names?"

Yun Jixing looked at Yu Ru, studied her carefully, and said, "Aru, I can tell you anything you want to know without reservation, but if you want to know this information about Yun Liuyi and others in order to help me investigate them, I can't tell you. This matter involves a wide range of people, institutions and companies. It's very dangerous, and I don't want you to get involved."

[But I am married to you, and what you experience is also relevant to me.]

"Yes." Yun Jixing nodded, holding Yu Ru's face with both hands, "So I have to inconvenience you. For the time being, you can't show up with me in some business occasions. I can only appear with you when there is progress in the matter of Yun Liuyi."

Yu Ru looked away and took his hand away, "Since investigating them is such a dangerous thing, I feel insecure if you do this."

Yun Jixing felt a sharp pain in his heart when he saw her. He suddenly felt a little confused. He didn't know what to say, so he could only hug her and apologize to her sincerely.

"Aru, I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, but no matter what, I will make sure you are well taken care of."

Yu Ru leaned against him for a while, then gently pushed him away, [What about you? I spent so much time accepting you, and now you're joining in and leaving me behind?]

After she finished the sign language, she looked away.

Yun Jixing shook his head, hugged her again, and pressed his forehead against hers, "Aru, I'm not risking my life. It's not that serious. I cherish my life very much, and I will always be with you."

Yu Ru raised her head and stared at him, with a hint of anger in her eyes. She suddenly didn't want to lean on Yun Jixing anymore. She felt inexplicably irritated. She didn't know what she was irritated about, but she just felt a kind of heart-wrenching pain.

After struggling internally for a few times, she gently pushed Yun Jixing away, stood up and walked out.

"Aru, Aru..." Yun Jixing hurriedly got up and chased after her.

"Aru, Aru..."

He grabbed her hand in time and held her in his arms, not letting go no matter how she struggled.

Yu Ru gave up. Walking was not an option. Only a proper conversation could solve the problem. She wanted to push Yun Jixing away a little to make room for her to sign, but he held her so tightly that no matter how she pushed, it was useless. She had no choice but to lean on him for the time being.

"Aru, don't go, don't go, okay?"

Yu Ru nodded.

Noticing her movements, Yun Jixing let go of her slightly, "Aru, did you nod just now?"

Yu Ru nodded again.

"Aru, don't leave. Don't be angry. Let's talk about it, okay?"

Yu Ru nodded.

"Then I'll give you a gift first, so you can calm down."

Yun Jixing suddenly picked her up and took her to his bedroom.

When they arrived at the bedroom, he put Yu Ru on his bed and asked her to sit, then he walked aside to get the gift.

He brought the two bags and a box back to Yu Ru, opened them, and said, "Aru, take a look. Do you like them? If you like them, please forgive me a little, okay?"

The first bag contained a white crane and flowers round-neck long coat and cloud shoulders made with a variety of complex techniques such as gold embroidery, seed embroidery, and mother-of-pearl crafts, plus a green horse-faced skirt and a multi-treasure leather belt. The second bag contained a white fox fur cloak, and the box contained a whole box of jewel rings, about ten of them.

The long coat is colorful white, the color is elegant but gorgeous, and the patterns on it include cranes, various flowers, bridges and flowing water, auspicious clouds, which have a good artistic conception. Because of the use of mother-of-pearl craftsmanship, most of these patterns look bright and shiny.

The leather belt is as brightly colored as the long coat, and the main body is made of gold, with jade, pearls, gems and various colors of agate inlaid on it.

Every one of these things is a good thing. The materials used to make them are valuable and they look beautiful. It is impossible for a normal person not to like them, and Yu Ru is no exception.

However, it's not like she hasn't seen these things before, and she has the ability to make a set of them herself. Compared to this, she still prefers Yunji Star.

She reached out, picked up the long coat, looked at it, then gently put it aside and went to hold Yun Jixing's hand.

This was a sign of goodwill, and Yun Jixing quickly held her hand tightly, "Aru, I'm sorry. Don't worry about Yun Liuyi's matter, I will take care of it. And now it's not just me who is trying to find a way to deal with Yun Liuyi, my uncle and aunt's family are also here, and the three of us are working together to find a solution."

Yu Ru nodded, no emotion showing on her face, but she seemed to be rather unhappy.

……………………I am the dividing line………………

Leather belt: The origin of leather belt can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, from which the use of belt hooks and buckles for fastening gradually emerged. By the Tang and Song Dynasties, a complete set of leather belt system had been formed.

A leather belt is mainly composed of four parts: belt strap (ting), belt buckle (kuǎ), belt buckle and belt tail (chá).

Among them, belt buckles, also known as "belt crotches", are decorative objects attached to leather belts. They are made of jade, gold, silver, rhinoceros, copper, iron, etc., among which jade belt buckles are the most noble.

In the Ming Dynasty, the shape and decoration of leather belts were strictly regulated, symbolizing the identity and status of officials. The leather belts in the Ming Dynasty were tied but not tied, unlike the Tang and Song Dynasties, which served as waist restraints. Instead, they were only hung around the waist and became pure decorations.

The use of belts is not only a constraint on clothes, but also a constraint on people, moral ethics, and laws and regulations.

In addition, many people may think that leather belts are only for men and women. No, leather belts can be worn by both men and women. From many ancient paintings of the Ming Dynasty, we can see that some women wearing bright red robes with long sleeves are wearing leather belts.

This is worn on more formal occasions, such as when wearing auspicious clothes (ancient formal wear). Wearing this also symbolizes one's status and family situation.

Mother-of-pearl: One of China's traditional decorative crafts, it refers to the decorative technique of processing the shells of mollusks such as snails, shells, and clams into thin slices, carving and piecing together patterns of flowers, plants, figures, birds and animals, and inlaying them on the surface of lacquer, wood and other objects. It is also called "mother-of-pearl", "snail shell", "snail filling", "trapped clams", etc.

Its origin is very early. Lacquerware inlaid with clam bubbles have been unearthed in tombs of the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046-771 BC) excavated in Shaanxi, Henan, Beijing and other places. Some scholars believe that this is the origin of mother-of-pearl craft. The more mature mother-of-pearl artifacts currently seen are the lacquer-back mother-of-pearl bronze mirrors unearthed from Tang tombs and the mother-of-pearl tortoise shell octagonal boxes and mother-of-pearl rosewood pipa collected in the Shosoin Repository in Nara, Japan.

Mother-of-pearl ware was quite common in the Song Dynasty. It is generally believed that the thin mother-of-pearl (or soft mother-of-pearl) technique recorded in "髹饰录" (The Record of Lacquer Painting) "the shell was thick in ancient times but is gradually thinner now" began to appear at this time and gradually occupied the mainstream position. At the same time, the thick mother-of-pearl (or hard mother-of-pearl) technique did not disappear and formed a unique style in the decoration of large furniture.

During the Yuan and Ming dynasties, the variety of shells used in mother-of-pearl crafts became more abundant and the processing became more refined. Auxiliary techniques such as adding colored lacquer, gold drawing, gold foil, gold and silver inlay and adding "sand" (i.e. sprinkling shell crumbs) were developed to create a colorful effect. As the "Lacquer Record" said: "All kinds of patterns, dots, supports, hooks, and strips, all need to be as delicate and dense as a painting." By the 17th century, the mother-of-pearl craft reached its peak, with major production areas such as Ji'an, Jiangxi, and the emergence of famous craftsmen such as Jiang Qianli and Fang Xinchuan.

After the Qing Dynasty, the craft of thin mother-of-pearl further developed towards lightness and delicacy, and the materials of inlaid objects also became more diverse. In addition to lacquer and wood, there are examples of inlaid mother-of-pearl decoration on jade, ivory, and metal.

After the mid-Qing Dynasty, mother-of-pearl, as one of the many inlay materials in the inlay craft, often appeared together with gemstones, jade, ivory, etc., and single mother-of-pearl objects became rare. The production areas of mother-of-pearl craft in the Qing Dynasty may be concentrated in Yangzhou, Guangzhou and other places. The Imperial Household Department can also make it. Famous craftsmen recorded include Wang Guoshen, Lu Yingzhi, Lu Kuisheng and others.

The above information comes from the Palace Museum

The Koreans pushed by dung beetles stole our mother-of-pearl and are preparing to apply for the World Heritage List. Many people think that mother-of-pearl is Korean, and not only our own people think so, but also other people in the world. There was once an Asian exhibition hall that labeled mother-of-pearl as Korean when exhibiting works.

In Korea, mother-of-pearl can be seen everywhere on the streets, on posters on walls, on food stalls and food carts, and in TV dramas and movies. They have done a great job promoting mother-of-pearl. Now mother-of-pearl has become their national treasure and is regarded as a national gift, which has also become something that makes them more glamorous.

Little do people know that a large portion of their mother-of-pearl was bought from us. After buying it, they blurred the origin of mother-of-pearl, intensified their publicity, and insisted that it originated from themselves. They then introduced a pre-compiled history, causing people to mistakenly believe that it was theirs.
