Chapter 1079: Supreme Yun warrior (2)
Chapter 1079
"Huh? Isn’t that Orion’s clan technique?"
Gustav questioned the moment he saw the yellow water blaze around Grey’s blade.
The warrior mage held the sword with a calm posture despite his debilitating condition.
Then, the same wave of water wrapped around Grey’s feet, which were encased in a pair of Ki boots.
With a clamorous bang, he burst forward with a speed he hadn’t displayed since Gustav entered his demon form.
This same speed was utilized when he augmented his body with Ki and wind.
Gustav wasn’t about to be caught lacking as his chains shot forward with blurring speed.
Grey spun around, watching as the links approached him, and he immediately clashed with two at once.
The yellow water around his sword blazed brighter as a wave burst out, throwing the attachments to the side when a few more bolted toward him.
He vaulted into the air like a rocket before thrusting his sword into the ether.
Bang!
A spear of yellow water burst out of the tip of his sword as it darted toward Gustav with blinding speed.
However, a metal wall rose in place as the spear crashed into it with a reverberating bang.
The barrier held, but alas! Cracks deepened along its surface, though it remained standing.
Bang!
Grey flash-stepped and reappeared directly behind Gustav before swinging his sword toward the man’s exposed back, sending a water ki slash to ripple forward.
The wings on the man’s back coiled and stood in place as the slash struck with crushing weight, but not even a scratch could be seen on the appendages.
The crimson wing shot toward the warrior mage, who had already anticipated this; therefore, he vaulted into the air with all his might.
He swung his sword a few times, sending slashes of Ki tearing toward Gustav.
Having enough of blocking, the demon moved around, avoiding each of the slashes that tore deep trenches into the earth.
"Breathing technique: first formation."
Invisible mist could be seen flaring from Grey’s mouth and curling into the air.
"... Gust of the wind."
Smashing his sword through the air, a violent blast of wind rushed outward.
Gustav had just appeared before the warrior mage, who was in the air, when the blast of wind smashed into him, sending him sliding backward.
Before he could go flying, his wings had already snapped in place, steadying his footing.
"Second formation; wind wheel."
He spun around in a cartwheel, therefore sending a huge wheel made entirely of wind rocketing toward Gustav with overwhelming speed.
Even with how fast the wheel was, the demon’s metal wall was much faster as it rose upward, shifting in place when the wheel struck.
A piercing, ringing sound rolled across the planet.
The next second, a loud tear was heard as the wheel tore through the wall like it was mere fabric.
The metal wall split apart as the wheel continued onward, but nobody was there.
Gustav had vanished, allowing the wheel to crash into the ground, ripping it open.
"Get back down."
The demonic voice came from behind.
Before he could think of turning around, a bone-rattling kick smashed into his side, causing loud cracks to echo out as blood forcefully burst from his mouth, followed by his whole body blasting into the earth.
A fifty meters wide crater yawned open immediately as Grey’s body connected with the dirt.
He coughed out another mouthful of fluid.
Descending from above like a rocket was Gustav, and in his hand was an enormously long lightning sword crackling with lethal force.
’Shoot.’
A violent tide of yellow water coursed all around his body, sliding him to the side with rapid velocity.
This occurred just in the nick of time, because a second too late, he would have been sliced apart.
KA-BOOOOM!
The lightning sword cleaved the earth apart.
For a hundred meters onward, the whole earth was divided in two as if an earthquake had ripped through the terrain.
It was so divided that a deep drop could be seen if one looked into the middle of the fractured ground.
Grey shot to his feet instantly as the demon spun toward him with a blazing, furious glare.
"Dance of the thunder god: First Formation," Grey muttered, and sparks of yellow lightning began crackling around his eyes as he shifted his feet.
His right leg moved behind his body a little bit as his eyes rapidly scanned the demon’s frame from head to toe for any signs of twitching that would suggest he was about to explode forward.
Visible steam with sparks of yellow electricity began seeping from Grey’s nostrils as he now set his gaze on where the demon stood.
The next second, the man vanished from sight, forcing the warrior mage to shut his eyes as he let his perception flood the whole area, trying to pinpoint where the opponent would appear next.
"Lightning Whip lash," he called out and then spun around fluidly as he glared upward to see his father hovering in the sky above him, ready to unleash a volley of metal spears on him.
BANG!
An ear-shattering bang echoed out so loudly as the warrior mage exploded from where he stood, totally shattering the ground, and he was now in the air heading toward the airborne demon.
The bang was so loud that for a second, the demon was taken aback as he could see his son surrounded by a tornado of lightning speeding toward him.
With a swing of his sword, three consecutive bangs were heard as the blade suddenly elongated with yellow lightning encasing it, and then it whipped out, coiling all around the demon with such force and speed.
Not only was the lightning so intense that it seared into the demon before hurling him out of the air and into the ground, but it also hacked through his defenses, trying to rip through.
BANG! BOOOM!
Gustav’s body crashed through the earth with mountain-shattering force, so much so that the ground split open to receive him instantly.
