Chapter 346 - 345: Damian Is the Most Cunning

Bella listened from behind, pouted, and walked forward pretending she hadn’t heard anything, "Aunt Sienna, what are you talking about?"

"I was thanking Mr. Sinclair for taking care of Ethan and the others." Aunt Sienna smiled, the displeasure between her brows disappearing thanks to what Damian had just said, "You two chat, I’ll go check on Ethan and the others. Bella, you can’t let them eat too many snacks, it’ll ruin their teeth."

Bella playfully stuck out her tongue.

"Did you really give them more snacks? Oh, Ethan, don’t eat too many snacks!" Aunt Sienna said, hurrying over to the dining hall.

Once she was gone, Bella dropped her smile and glared at Damian, "You’re sly, you were just sweet-talking Aunt Sienna."

"I was just telling the truth," Damian said calmly. He really hadn’t lied; he had always been imagining a future with her, and even earlier, he was picturing her playing with their kids, but he hadn’t specifically planned when to get married yet.

Bella was taken aback and turned to look at him.

She really thought he was just trying to make Aunt Sienna happy, but he actually had thought about their future together.

Damian looked up at her, "Are you surprised?"

Bella averted her eyes, a blush creeping onto her cheeks, "What’s the big deal? I’ve thought about it too."

She had also imagined a future together, even planning to keep two dogs when they grew old and plant some vegetables and strawberries in the yard.

Damian’s heart was touched, and he reached out to hold her hand.

Bella was startled for a moment and glared at him, "Let go, Ethan and the others might see and learn bad habits."

"They’re busy eating pudding; they won’t come out." Damian interlocked his fingers with hers, "Aunt Sienna’s question earlier got me thinking. Bella, how about we get engaged after you cool down?"

"Engaged?" Bella looked at him in surprise.

"Yes." Damian nodded.

Bella looked at him, her heart tightened.

Why did he suddenly bring up getting engaged? Is it too soon? But maybe not, they’ve been living together for five years, even if the first three don’t count, their relationship has changed after the intimacy in the last two years.

So maybe even getting married wouldn’t be rash now?

Then getting engaged naturally is no problem.

Bella thought about how she hadn’t been a girlfriend for long when she’s about to become a fiancée, feeling a bit uneasy but mostly joyful.

She turned her head, her smile slowly curling up uncontrollably, her bright eyes shining like the brightest stars in the night sky.

Damian’s fiancée!

Just the thought of it made her heart feel sweet.

What to do, she almost wanted to forgive him immediately.

"Buzz buzz!" The phone vibrated at that moment.

Bella was startled and then realized it was a call, withdrawing her hand with a blush and taking out her phone from her pocket.

Glancing at the caller ID, she pressed the answer button, "Hello, Ms. Flynn."

Elaine Vaughn on the other end said, "Bella, I heard from Sharon that you’re in Creston?"

"Yes, I’m heading back to the filming base this afternoon." Bella replied, "Ms. Flynn, is there something you need from me?"

"Yes." Elaine Vaughn said, "Since you’re in Creston, drop by the studio later; I’ll introduce you to your agent."
