"He’s in mourning?" I echoed out, beyond confused as I stared at Raina. I had arrived here with Roy and Kim about ten minutes ago, and she had instantly ushered us in and offered us some tea and cookies, although I was unable to even sip at the tea, too strung up to do that.
I had been that way after the text she sent me. It has not only caught me off guard, it has been completely unexpected as well.

Roy stood up this time. "And how’s labyrinth supposed to get Blaze to change back? I thought after he turned into his final form, he wouldn’t be able to turn back into human again."
Raina hummed. "You’re right. But in this situation, we’re lucky enough that the bond he shares with his mate is very strong. That’s what’s keeping him from fully going feral, which means it’s possible for us to still get him back. He just needs to agree to shift back, that’s all. So far, I believe he still has the ability to shift back but refused because he’s only interested in mourning."
"So, labyrinth is supposed to go to him?" Kim asked this time and Raina nodded.
"Yes. We’ll all accompany him if he’s willing to do this, but we won’t go all the way with him. Blaze is gonna blast us all if we attempt to do that."
"What’s the guarantee he wouldn’t blaze Labyrinth off too? You said he couldn’t recognize anyone." Roy questioned.
"I just know it within me that Blaze wouldn’t hurt his mate no matter what. He’s gonna be able to recognize who his mate is no matter what." Raina turned towards me next.
"So... are you willing to do this?"
